BANGARANG, a film inspired by true events of the  Kenyan  Post  Election violence that led to the death of the 6 months old Baby Pendo is being officially launched in Kisumu, after many months of planning and postponement brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic regulations in the country at the time of its production.

BANGARANG revolves around Otile, a jobless 1st class honours degree holder who takes to the street during riots to vent his anger against bad leadership but on a run for his life he finds himself wrongfully accused of the death of an innocent 6-month-old baby…. who really killed the child?

The movie, based in Kisumu City, enacts the scenes that preceded the last general election bringing into perspective the underbelly of Kenya’s election cycle that is always followed by violent confrontations between the members of the public and the security personnel.
