According to a statement released on Friday, the Kenya Railways Corporation announced the re-introduction of midweek safari train services to Kisumu. These additional services will operate on Wednesdays and Thursdays, supplementing the regular Friday and Sunday train schedules.

The midweek train departing from Nairobi to Kisumu is scheduled to leave Nairobi Station every Wednesday at 6:30 pm.

Similarly, passengers traveling from Kisumu to Nairobi can board the midweek train departing from Kisumu Station every Thursday at 6:30 pm.
