Kisumu’s Fourth Ultra Modern Otonglo Market Unveiled
The construction of the Fourth Ultra Modern Market in Kisumu, started today when Governor Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o performed a groundbreaking ceremony for the Ksh 79 million, Otonglo market in the outskirts of this great City.
A product of a partnership between the French-Funded Kenya Urban Project and my government, Otonglo Market will accommodate up to 500 traders and will be ready in just 8 months.
This is proof that we care for the welfare of the small scale traders. With the Chichwa market already teeming with traders, the magnificent Uhuru Business Park preparing to open its doors and works on Kibuye raging on. Kisumu will never be the same again. Said Governor Nyong’o.
The governor added that they are also looking for more funds to expand and modernise the Jubilee Market.

4 years agoWe are experiencing some shift in our climatic patterns. I think conservation of our environment is important in helping us preserve our future as a country and the world at large. I think @Mark Kyallo and other professionals should help us as a country and people in achieving this.

4 years agoGuess you are right. One thing I, however, know that every little effort we take as individuals will go a long way in masking our environment sustainable. Hown do I handle the wasters that I produce. To me, I would start from there.
Two, professionals then should help in drafting policies that will also help in conserving and preserving our environment and natural resources, with strict penalties on destructive activities.
