We all have dreams, some out of this world, some outrageously crazy, some also to the benefit of our immediate surroundings.

Whatever it is, it’s still a dream.

The famous American author Napoleon Hill once said that:

“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve”.

It is for this same reason why great men and women have stood before us and came up with world-changing solutions and ideas to our many problems.

Take, for example, the Wright brothers. In their wildest dreams and imaginations, they wouldn’t have thought that they would invent, build and fly the world’s first successful motor-operated aeroplane.

Our imagination is one of the keys to a productive life, and in fact, life is only limited by a lack of it. Our imagination is the key to untold worlds when we grow up as children.

Upon winning the Oscars, our very own US-based actress Lupita Nyong’o also had this to say of dreams:

“No matter where you are from, your dreams are valid.”

We all have very valid dreams and imaginations for ourselves, our families and our communities.

It’s for this same reason that Safaricom Foundation has just last week launched the third edition of the Ndoto Zetu initiative.

During the launch at various places across the country, Safaricom CEO, Peter Ndegwa said this when he presided over the fulfilment of yet another dream that saw Shadrack Kimalel Secondary school in Kibra get a new and fully furnished laboratory.

He said:

“Ndoto Zetu is our initiative to partner with Kenyans keen to make a difference in their communities through social investments. Each dream we bring to life translates to thousands of lives impacted and transformed. This year we hope to impact and transform many more lives as we continue to support the country bounce back from the COVID-19 Pandemic. It is our greatest desire and joy to help fulfil dreams that impact millions of people countrywide,” said Peter Ndegwa.
